Ben Roethlisberger Fantasy Analysis

  • Steelers-Chiefs moved to Sunday night
The NFL has moved kickoff of the Steelers-Chiefs game to 8:20 pm ET on Sunday. The game was originally scheduled to start at 1:05 ET, but Kansas City is expected to get slammed by an ice storm this weekend. The current forecast calls for a 100% chance of rain and 32-degree temperatures for Sunday night, so we're not sure what the new kickoff time is accomplishing. Wind isn't expected to be an issue, but the conditions will obviously be less than ideal for the passing games. Full Story

  • Roethlisberger set for Divisional Round
Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger isn't listed on the final injury report. The foot injury that had him in a walking boot after last weekend's win doesn't look like it'll be a major issue in Kansas City on Sunday. The bigger concerns are Roethlisberger's extreme home/road splits and a ball-hawking Chiefs defense. Full Story

  • Roethlisberger aggravated a previous foot injury
Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said Monday that an MRI showed that he "aggravated an old foot fracture" in Sunday's win over the Dolphins. He dealt with foot injuries both in 2010 and 2015. Big Ben added that this latest issue is "nothing severe ... I should be good to go." He'll start Sunday's game against the Chiefs, although the injury might impact his mobility. It adds more risk to a guy who's struggled on the road most of the season. Full Story

  • Roethlisberger's ankle "checked out OK"
Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's ankle "checked out OK," sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Doesn't seem to be a bad sprain," Rapoport added. There was concern when Big Ben was spotted in a walking boot after Sunday's win over the Dolphins, but that's often precautionary. Roethlisberger should be under center for this weekend's Divisional Round game in Kansas City. Full Story

  • Roethlisberger injures ankle
Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger injured his ankle on the 2nd-to-last play of Sunday's playoff win over the Dolphins, he told ESPN's Aditi Kinkhabwala afterward. Big Ben was in a walking boot, although we've seen in the past that that doesn't necessarily mean his injury is serious. "I'll be out there next week," he told Kinkhabwala. We're sure to get plenty of updates on Roethlisberger's status this coming week. Full Story
