I appreciate all the emails asking when Brett Favre will be included in the FantasyFootballNerd.com fantasy football rankings. I just learned about it this morning, so I'll be adding him to the active players list this evening. Favre will get included in tomorrow morning's rankings scan so you'll be able to see him shortly.

A little behind the scenes info: I get an automated report each morning with a bunch of information, part of which includes any errors that were encountered during the most recent scan. I am really looking forward to seeing the Brett Favre error go away. Only a few sources had him in their rankings so the FFNerd engine would throw me an error every day. It will be interesting to see where he falls within the rankings system, as well as where his new teammates fall.

After I heard the news and checked it out myself, I had to go back and re-read my post from July: What to do about Brett Favre. I still stand by my comments and advice that Favre's a backup QB option. He could very well surprise many, but the advice is based upon all the available information as of right now.

Another thing to watch is the price of tickets. I guarantee prices for Vikings Packers Tickets will go up for the two games. Game tickets have been unavailable to Packers regular season games during my lifetime, so tickets are only available from brokers or other sources. Expect to pay a premium.
