Brandon Marshall Fantasy Analysis

  • Decker done for the season
The Jets have placed WR Eric Decker on IR, and he will have season-ending shoulder surgery, Pro Football Talk reports. That will obviously keep WR Quincy Enunwa prominently involved in the pass offense, which has already provided him 7+ targets and 4+ catches every week. He sits in WR3 territory across fantasy formats. Decker's absence also likely solidifies Brandon Marshall's WR1 status. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick gets a fantasy downgrade going forward, though he had already provided that with his play in recent weeks. Decker will be 30 in March, so his dynasty outlook certainly isn't trending in the right direction. We wouldn't bet on you being able to sell him for good value in such a format at this point, though. Full Story

  • Marshall active
Jets WR Brandon Marshall (knee) is active for today's game against the Chiefs. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported this morning that Marshall will be on a snap count, which obviously lowers his ceiling and floor. Consider him a risk/reward WR2. Full Story

  • Marshall expected to be on snap count
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Jets WR Brandon Marshall (knee) is expected to play against the Chiefs today but will be on a snap count. We've already seen the snap count thing play out multiple ways this season -- good for Kelvin Benjamin, bad for Rob Gronkowski -- and it's impossible to know just how involved Marshall will be. He's played well through injuries in the past, so we're keeping him in low-end WR2 territory in the Week 3 Rankings. Full Story
