Brandon Marshall Fantasy Analysis

  • Marshall out again Thursday
Jets WR Brandon Marshall (knee) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. It looks like there's a real chance he doesn't play against the Chiefs this weekend. Of course, Marshall is a veteran who could suit up without much or any practice. We'll update his status again tomorrow. If Marshall can't play Sunday, Quincy Enunwa would step in as New York's #2 WR and make a nice WR3 in fantasy. Full Story

  • Marshall might be a game-time decision
Jets WR Brandon Marshall (knee) suggested that he might be a game-time decision for Week 3. "The school I come from is, don't rule me out until Sunday. I need all the way up until pregame warmup to see if I'm good to go," he said. "Right now, I feel stable. I feel good. And I'm going to work my tail off to get out there and be out there with the guys." Marshall was able to return to last Thursday night's game but didn't practice on Monday. He might have experienced swelling after the win over the Bills. We'll track his progress throughout the week. Jets-Chiefs doesn't kick off until 4:25 pm ET on Sunday. Full Story

  • Marshall "not a lock" for Week 3
Pro Football Talk hears that Jets WR Brandon Marshall (knee) is not a lock to play against the Chiefs next Sunday. He suffered an MCL injury in Thursday night's win over the Bills but was able to return to that game. That -- plus the extra 3 days rest he'll get -- makes us believe he'll be ready by next weekend. But we'll track his status throughout the week. Full Story

  • Marshall lost feeling in knee
Jets WR Brandon Marshall revealed after Thursday night's win that he lost feeling in his knee when it got bent awkwardly in the 2nd quarter. He went back to the locker room to get it checked out but regained feeling and returned for the next series. Marshall hauled in 4 of 7 targets for 49 yards the rest of the way. We'll keep an eye on him when New York returns to practice, but he should be ready to go for Week 3 vs. the Chiefs. Full Story
