Fantasy Football API Update

Jul 28, 2008 at 12:00 pm ET

Two new XML services are available through the FantasyFootballNerd.com API. You can retrieve a list of all players along with some additional background info such as their height, weight, experience, and college. You can also pass along that player's ID to a new service to retrieve news headlines within the past week that involves that player. Enjoy!

Seeing the averaged rankings from all the different sites is great, how about something that would compile the projections from each of the sites you're pulling rankings from and then averaging those projections?? That would be an absolutely OUTSTANDING tool to have!! Being able to see the tiers within a position and apply vbd to the averaged stats would shoot truly shoot this site to the top of the list.

Working on it.

I've added the Cumulative Rank to the RankingsXML request. It's now an attribute for every player. Enjoy!
